About Us

We are a family owned business in Houston, TX and we enjoy watching movies on the big screen. Due to COVID-19 and not being able to really go to the movies we started thinking what can we do as family that will not only get us out the house but also enjoy some family time? This is how TX Backyard Movies was born. 

We started researching equipment and thinking what would we like to do or have as we watch movies? We purchased screens, projectors, chairs, inflatable sofas, etc and started setting up in our front yard. So now we're helping get your family and friends out of the house (but not really lol). Since then we have set up in others backyards for family movie nights, 50th birthday parties, date nights,etc. 

Yes, date nights. We enjoy the date nights because we can put the kids to bed and set up our small picnic table, wine glasses, inflatable sofa and enjoy a movie from the privacy of our own backyard. We can set the mood for you as well. 

We love spending time with our family and french bulldogs* . We hope you let us make your family time and events special by adding our cinema equipment.
